It might be the offseason, but the Seattle Rainmakers are working year round to promote Ultimate.

The team is proud to support the Pacific Northwest Youth Sport Show. The show’s goal is to promote a healthy lifestyle for our area youth through athletics. In addition to a booth, team staff will also direct a clinic on how to play Ultimate in an effort to introduce young athletes to the sport. The show will be held from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Saturday, August 24th and 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM on Sunday, August 25th.

Anyone involved with youth sports, Ultimate or otherwise, should definitely check out this fun and family-oriented event. You’ll find a comprehensive gathering of resources for the beginner to the seasoned high school athlete. Top area coaches and trainers will provide lessons and clinics for the show attendees, knowledge which will surely be useful to Ultimate coaches as well. Doctors will provide valuable information on injury prevention, maintenance and nutrition. Nobody likes second day tournament cramps!

Some of the other exhibitors include the Seattle Mariners, Seattle Thunderbirds, Special Olympics, Swedish Hospital, Washington Youth Soccer, Sea Gals, First Tee, NWAAU and much more.

Admission is $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for youth 13-17, and children 12 and under get in free. Show discount coupons are available on the Pacific Northwest Youth Sport Show tickets page. Additionally, game day ticket holders to the August 24th and 25th Mariners game or August 25th Sounders game receive free admission.
