The Seattle Rainmakers will be running their 2015 Spring Youth Clinic on Saturday, April 11.
Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m. with warm-ups starting at 4:30 p.m.
Rainmakers youth clinics are excellent opportunities for youth players to get coaching from professional ultimate players. Coaches will work with participants to improve skills and learn about the sport.
“We like to think of all the participants as part of the Rainmakers for the day,” said Eddie Feeley. “We take participants through a typical practice and teach new concepts along the way.”
The Fall Youth Clinic was a huge success and impressed veteran player Mark Burton.
“The last clinic I ran for the Rainmakers was back in November and it was an absolutely nasty day out, rainy and windy,” said Burton. “Fifty to sixty kids still showed up. Incredible!”
Players are excited to run another clinic because they enjoy sharing their expertise and seeing the next generation of athletes coming into the sport with enthusiasm.
“The kids brought a love for the game and positivity that made the coach’s job super fun,” said Samuel Pickel.
This event will be beneficial for youth players of all skill levels.
Clinic attendees will receive two tickets to the Seattle home opener on May 3 and will have opportunities to win free prizes. Merchandise will be available for sale.
