The Seattle Rainmakers are proud to announce the signing of Adam Holt for our inaugural season.
“I’m most looking forward to competing against my friends & rivals in a single-game, stadium environment,” says Holt. “Many of the most memorable games from my club career happened in that showcase type setting and it should be awesome to play every game that way.”
Adam Holt is widely regarded as one of the most visionary handlers in the game. A southpaw, Holt’s quick-release and timing opens the field for cutters, creating big scoring opportunities. A 4-year veteran of Seattle’s premier club team, Sockeye, Holt will quickly become an important mainstay for the Rainmaker offense.
“Adam is a long-time Northwestern-er with great international experience,” says Coach Ben Wiggins. “Beyond being a strong athlete, he is tremendously versatile. This is a really fun start to our handling unit.”
General Manager Max Vitali concurs. “Adam is another keystone in our project to bring all the top talents in town to join the Rainmakers,” says Vitali. “He’s not only a great player, but an important part of Seattle’s community, we can’t be happier to have him on board.”
With this second official signing and the Rainmakers’ 2013 tryout on the horizon, eyes turn to the Rainmakers’ home opener against the Vancouver Nighthawks. Holt’s experience playing against Canadian rivals is sure to lead Seattle into the fray.
